Each year, we continue to grow thanks to the hundreds of attendees, talented artists and numerous, great vendors.
We also had Cosplay areas, food, a prize raffles, Children's Area, Scout classes, a Jedi Training Academy and Costume contests, more panels and demonstrations and a STEM area
In the past, we've had some great sponsors including Marvel, Toys R Us, Artway Alliance, Clone Army Customs, Lost In Time Toy Store, ThinkGeek, Diamond Comic Distributors, and more!!
WON'T YOU WANT TO BE PART OF OUR FOURTH SHOW THIS YEAR???
Our location is near the Potomac Mills shopping district during peak Christmas shopping time.
This combined with our increased advertising, increased word of mouth and successful previous shows should bring us even more attendance than last year!!
This year's price increases reflect the increase in facility costs and the increase in advertising investment on the Troop's part.

Why Everyone Should Come To Troop 501’s Star Wars Days?
Timing
o Star Wars is everywhere! Everywhere you look, there is Star Wars merchandise.
o Geek culture is the norm and it is awesome! This is our fourth year and we just keep adding more each year!
o Christmas shopping is at its peak.
Show attendees will be looking to not only enjoy themselves, but also for potential Christmas gifts.
o Great first year!
First year we learned a lot. We had 500 to 600 attendees.
Word of mouth was that it was a great show and we have had lots of requests early in the
year by attendees and vendors/artists when we would be having our show this year.
Return vendors/artists are already signing up (and asking for larger space!)
Location, location, location
o Located in eastern Prince William County, 30 minutes south of Washington, DC,
40 minutes north of Richmond and about 1 hour from Baltimore, MD.
We are/will be advertising in all of these areas.
o It is near the major Potomac Mills shopping centers which will be overloaded with Christmas shoppers and near the Stonebridge Shopping Center (Wegman’s, REI, etc.)
o It has a large amount of free parking with easy access in and out of the school facility
o We'll have significant frontage signage off of 4 exits on I-95.
Scouting Community Attendance
o In addition to the general public fan base, this event will draw in scouts from the Northern Virginia, DC and southern Maryland.
o Planned scout events will include tours of the artist area in order to meet scout requirements.
Help Boy Scouts
o The proceeds from this event will go towards helping Boy Scout Troop 501.
o This is a young Troop trying to grow in an area with very few Scouting opportunities. (This is our third year!)
o Our name (501) was named after Darth Vader’s Legion due to our love of Star Wars.
o We have scouts within our Troop from all over eastern Prince William County.
o It takes a lot of resources to start and grow and Boy Scout Troop and it is our goal to bring this program and its values to as many of the youth of the area as possible. You can learn more about the Troop on their website (www.NCACTroop501.com) and their facebook page.
