Cosplay and Costume Weapons Policy
We understand that cosplay is a HUGE part of making our event out of this world, so we want to make sure that everyone has a fun and safe time. Please read this policy and follow the rules! If you violate this policy, you could be asked to leave Star Wars Days without a refund.
Prop weapons will be allowed into Star Wars Days at the discretion of our leaders and uniformed security personnel. Safety is paramount, we will always err on the side of caution.
ALL PROP WEAPONS MUST BE INSPECTED AT OUR WEAPONS CHECK BOOTH PRIOR TO ENTRANCE.
There will be no place to store prohibited weapons on-site. If you sneak in a weapon that is prohibited, you will be escorted from the building and not allowed back in with the weapon.
Prop weapons are allowed at Star Wars Days, as long as they meet the following critiera;
That they are composed of cardboard, foam, something light.
Prop firearms are allowed only if they cannot be mistaken for real weapons.
The barrel of all prop firearms must be covered with brightly-colored caps.
Prop bows will be allowed providing all arrows have soft tips and will not be shot.
Any weapon that could seriously hurt somebody is not allowed. Specifically, but not limited to:
Functional firearms – that includes paintball, airsoft, bb guns, cap guns, any gun that shoots a real projectile
or causes a real explosion.
Realistic firearms – any gun that could be confused for a real gun.
Prop weapons made of a hard material such as metal or glass
Functional projectile weapons – any weapon (crossbow, slingshot, etc) that discharges a projectile
Metal-bladed weapons
Whips
Explosives
Blunt weapons
Loud props such as whistles, horns, etc.
Please use common sense! We are trying to create a safe space for everyone.
Anti-Harassment/Bullying Policy
Boy Scout Troop 501 is committed to following the Boy Scout Oath and tenates of the Scout Law.
As such, we hope to create an atmosphere where Star Wars fans can count on a safe, inclusive, and rewarding experience. Star Wars Days is meant to be an inclusive space for fans, with a zero-tolerance policy against harassment, groping, stalking, and inappropriate photography. Gender-based harassment doesn’t have to happen in the workplace to be unacceptable.
Harassment includes, but is not limited to, verbal comments that reinforce social structures of domination related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion; deliberate intimidation; stalking; following; harassing photography or recording; sustained disruption of talks or other events; inappropriate physical contact; and unwelcome sexual attention. Harassment of any kind is unwelcome at Star Wars Days and will not be tolerated.
Anything less than a total commitment by our attendees to comply with the harassment policy is unacceptable.
Anyone who isn’t prepared to abide by this policy is not welcome at Star Wars Days.
Ticketing Terms and Conditions
Each Pass is for one person only. You cannot transfer the ticket to multiple people or buy one pass and “share” amongst multiple people. Each day of the pass is marked as such – Saturday and Sunday – and will not be accepted on any other day. Tickets are “Rain or Shine”.
There will be no weather related cancellations.
There will be no refunds for tickets exchanged for wristbands close to the event closing time on any given day.
Tickets are non-refundable, should be treated as cash and safeguarded as such. Each printed ticket has a unique ID # and can only be scanned one time. Tickets scanned multiple times will not be accepted.
Lost or stolen tickets will not be replaced.
Any person caught duplicating or trying to duplicate tickets, or wristbands, for the profit of themselves or others will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
You must wear your attendance badges at all times to be admitted to any event function. Wristband must be in full view at all times.
All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Possession of alcoholic beverages by anyone on the grounds is reason for expulsion from the event without refund.
Announced events are subject to change and/or cancellation without notice. Every effort will be made to announce any changes via the Internet and pre-convention publications and our onsite program guide, but sometimes last-minute changes will occur.
All event and program rooms have limited capacity as set by the Fire Marshal. Even though your ticket is needed to get into all events, it does not guarantee you access to any event if it has reached its capacity.
All attendees at the event are prevented from taking, recording, or creating film, or digital pictures, videos, tapes, sound recordings, or any other visual or auditory recreation of any kind whatsoever, of any event guest, member, volunteer, exhibitor, or employee, or of any Star Wars Day event, for any commercial use, or for the solicitation of funds for any commercial or other purpose, without the express written permission of Boy Scout Troop 501.
Management reserves all rights for changes, additions or deletions to this agreement at any time.
